When you buy Sets for a cause, you will have the space for your Sets (and text, and link to your chosen website) forever. Once all or a significant amount of the Sets have been purchased for one Cause, the grid of Sets will be moved away from the home page of Set Forever.

This way, more priority causes can be exposed on the home page of Set Forever as required, and even if all the Sets for a Cause have been taken, we can create a new grid of Sets for a related Cause.

So in short, any Sets that you buy will appear forever on Set Forever, giving you a permanent image, text description and website link.

I hope all that is OK.

So, the current Cause will always get the most exposure until all the Sets have been taken and then we will move onto the next Cause.

I’ve also reduce the size of the Set Forever log on the home page so that the Sets now appear slightly higher on the page so that more of your Sets appear when the page is loaded.

The here and now is that I want to raise funds for St Mary’s Hospice for their invaluable help provided to my gran and perhaps give me a new direction in life.

So, I’m now re-evaluating and designing how Set Forever will operate to achieve the goal I set out initially and all other causes can “wait”.

I got back from India a few days ago after distributing my gran’s ashes in the same locations as my granddad’s and I believe they are now both together forever.

I also came back with an intention to push Set Forever more and was just trying to reserve one Set for myself and found out that some of the code updates that I did before I went away re-directed the browser to the home page of Set Forever when you clicked the Reserve Sets button (after selecting the Sets that you want to get).

I think I’ve fixed this now and I will get one Set myself as I want some money to go to the St Mary’s Hospice cause as they could not accept a gift that I wanted them to have on behalf of my gran.

So, I hope you start getting Sets and I will get my one Set to make sure everything is working OK now.

I’ve recently had a baby girl (Krystal) who is my first child and inevitably this has taken up a lot of my time.

I’ve been developing formal agreements with charities with respect to some general guidelines and the Charities act and this has also taken a while and is till in progress. I hope to have the agreements complete soon.

I am also soon away to India to distribute my gran’s ashes and sort out a few things and people over there.

Some of you may have noticed a few server PHP errors over the past day or so and this has been due to old code not being compatible with a server upgrade. Most if not all of these errors have been fixed by updating the code, but if you find any errors yourself then please contact me and I will attend to them.

I tried everything I could get the the system back but I simply could not “get in”. It was late in the evening and I was very concerned but my faith in Xcalibre paid off. Thank you.

I did this after updating the core version of WordPress that runs the site as the site got hacked yesterday and someone changed a few settings for the WordPress blog system, edited a few articles and add their name to the site. They also did something which stooped me from logging in to WordPress and thanks to Nathan at Xcalibre, we managed to back-step the site to a few days ago and get it all working again.

I’m now in the process of customising it with appropriate forums and appearance so that you and I can discuss everything to do with Set Forever and it’s causes.

The first Set were purchased for the St Mary’s Hospice Cause, which you can see here. 

The funds now need to be accounted for and even though this was never an unforeseen issue the process of accounting needs to be clear and quick to help reduce administration costs.

So that’s what I’m doing at the moment.
