To the District Nurses from Dr Walji’s Surgery.
Thank you for coming EVERY DAY for the past few months to help and support my gran.
This thank you message is way overdue.
Since gran was given leave from the hospice a few months ago, she has had to carry a syringe driver (a little battery powered intravenous injector) which gives her a steady dose of drugs throughout the day to make her life easier.
I think we (the family) have taken the situation as granted as gran has been OK for a few months. However, without the daily visits from the District Nurses gran would not be as comfortable as she is.
I know is your (District Nurses) job to do what you do but I really would like to thank you for providing such a great and personal service. The Nurses have become friend of the family and I wish you all a long and healthy life.
I would have liked to mention all the individual names, but something tells me it may not be quite right to do this but again, thank you.
