Actually, I Think Life Was Complicating My Thinking!
After taking a step back and considering other things in my life, I had a few modest eureka moments which I have managed to filter and apply to the fundraising concept.
I have re-developed the process to select, reserve, customise, buy and make sets live, and that’s what I’ve been working on over the past few weeks. I’m much more confident about launching it now once a few more tweaks have been done. I still need to work out how I’m going to manage the expiry of sets; You will be able to buy sets for causes for a duration (e.g. 1 year, 5 years, etc) and so after the purchase period the sets need to be simply be expired and removed from the live sets. In words this seems quite easy but some thought needs to be put into the process and how much coding needs to be done for an initial launch. Even though I would have a year to sort it out (if the minimum purchase period was 1 year, I currently don;t want the headache of not having a semi-thought about solution). Perhaps again taking another step back may help!?
